It’s compatible with exhaust emission control systems and offers protection in extreme operating temperatures. It is based on free-flowing synthetic base oils that allow reliable pumping on start-up under cold climate conditions. Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 Full Synthetic Engine Oil offers enhanced fuel economy performance (compared to 15W-40 oils) that can save money in fuel consumption, without compromising engine protection or durability. It’s suitable for new and older diesel-powered vehicles from Class 8 tractor/trailers to medium commercial vehicles, diesel pickups, delivery, utility, school bus fleets, and mixed fleets.
